The Craftloot system and the Stash Supplies spell, you can store your materials from anywhere and when you use the crafting stations in the safe house your inventory will automatically full up with the required materials. A new skill, Archaeology which has 3 mini skill trees. Has it's own storyline and some unique followers who have different bonus effects 
A new guild, the Explorers Guild, with its own headquarters. Tons and tons of new items and a way to organize unique or rare items, display them and make money off of them, as well as unlock more features and quests as your collection grows. New locations, including the museum location in Solitude, and a safe house which acts as a player home on steroids. I was playing this modded recently, I highly highly recommend the Legacy of the Dragonborn mod. Vortex will also inform me if there's a compatibility patch available for mods combination that I use.Īlternatively, you can use Mod Manager 2. As I installed more mods, there's chance of conflicts and Vortex would inform me and give solutions which can be solved within a few clicks. My experience with Vortex has been sublime so far: browse and install mods of my choice, and Vortex will automatically sort the load order and deploy them (LOOT is not required anymore as far as I'm concerned).

Most of the big mods have been ported over, and there are alternatives in those cases where they haven’t been. While lots of important mods from Old Skyrim weren't working on SE originally, nowadays things have massively changed. So, Skyrim Special Edition brought advanced support for modding with 64-bit on PC, which means that we can load up more heavy mods with fewer issues and instability.
